I think this was to be expected.

After giving it a lot of thought, I have decided to officially close Fictional instead of letting it travel that long, lingering unupdated death. Given work and other matters, I no longer have enough time to update and answer email as often as I had in the past, and personal internet has been limited. I've also been jetting in and out of the country due to work-related stuff, so I don't always have access to ftp as before. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting the barrage of members the TCG wound up having, and while I love the fact that you guys think the TCG was great enough to join and be active in it, it also severely tested my abilities to run the TCG and still keep up with other demands.

I could try and pop up every once in awhile and attempt to do sporadic updates, but I always thought that the one thing I loved best about Fictional was that it was always fluctuating, with strange games spawning up at random places, and updates at least twice a week. I promised myself that if I ever found myself allowing this TCG to go stagnant, that it would probably be time to let it go. It isn't fair to any of you guys always looking forward to the frequent updates, only for me not being able to deliver.

With that in mind, feel free to remove this TCG from your respective collectives. It's been a wonderful, wonderful ride, and I feel happy and blessed to have met a lot of you through here! I hope to meet you guys again outside of it, and I wish you all the very best!
